Does anyone know if there is a way to patch this on the Xbox 360 version of GH3 with an RGH? I replaced the qb file in my xbox gh3 scripts directory but now the game just crashes every time at the first loading screen.
Try patching the file yourself with a hex editor following what I did in this video. The values are likely the same or close since the PC port of GH3 appears to be based on the 360 release. Also keep in mind that an xbox 360 has less resources available than a typical PC.
@@ExileLord I did compare the limited (Xbox) and unlimited (PC) engine_params files in a HEX editor earlier and there was only like 2 or so values that were different between the two. I didn’t make any changes though but I will tomorrow. Might just straight up not work though for hardware reasons idk maybe the limit you set is too much for a 360 to handle although I kinda doubt it since gh3 PC was probably optimized for similarly spec’d PCs around 2007. I’ll see.
@@LogeJit As a word of caution, I wouldn't assume that GH3PC is optimized any more than "functional". It's been a very long time since GH3PC came out but it ran *abysmally* on machines of the time.
